Hi Everyone!
What can I say, planning is in my blood and when my birthday (number not disclosed) was coming up I decided to plan a gorgeous night of celebration for my closest friends. My goal for the night is to bring my closest friends both old and new all together in one place. We tend to have friends from different times in our lives and the thought of having everyone come together is the best gift a girl can ask for.
I went with a Moroccan theme because I felt that it went so well with Santaluz and goes well with the Fall season. The colors I chose for the party was jewel tones. There is something so romantic and mysterious about the shades of purple, blues, and fuschia!
The AMAZING photos were captured by my very good friend and extremely talented photographer: Braja Mandala Photography!
The party took place outdoors in the courtyard, so when guests arrived, the sun was starting to go down and they were greeted with a mixture of gorgeous Moroccan lanterns strung from the trellis at the entrance. Up on the hill it can get chilly at night so I had jewel tone padshminas available in case some of the ladies got cold.

I decided also to add a fun element and as favors gave away colorful bangle bracelets that were adorned on a large manzanita branch in case any of the ladies were in the mood to do some belly dancing!

Even though it was a “dress to impress” type of party, I wanted it to have a very casual and relaxing atmosphere. Instead of having formal tables, I decided to go with a lounge type of atmosphere. I had lounge furniture and pillows scattered around the courtyard to create the warm and welcoming ambiance

Me with my handsome husband. He is probably the kindest person I have ever met. I am so lucky to have found him.

The other Fabulous Men in my life! My bff Thomas Bui and Bob Stevens. I am so grateful to have them in my life.

The fabulous Elizabeth (who is the catering manager at Santaluz) and my bestie Thomas

One of my favorite shots of the party! Lighting is so important and is most often forgotten about!. I just love this shot with the candles, fireplace and the string lighting. It is so romantic!

I love the uplighting behind the tree and my gorgeous birthday cake!

It was such a relaxing and wonderful night thanks to all of my friends. I just wanted to send special shout outs to my amazing friends that helped me put everything together. I definitely could not have done it without them!
Thank you to Elizabeth and the team at Santaluz for going absolutely above and beyond my expectations, Haydee & Fred from Concepts Event Design for the gorgeous linens, Braja Mandala of Mandala Photography for the breathtaking images, Thomas Bui of Thomas Bui Lifestyle for the gorgeous cake made by CAKE, Nahid Farhoud of Wedding Elegance for pretty much ALL the Moroccan decor!, DJ Edgar of Gardouble Productions for a fabulous job on djing my party, Vynce Pham of Music Phreek for the uplighting, and last but not least one of my best friends, Ana Arteaga of Manzanita Designs for the Manzanita branch!

Hi Everyone,
If you are close followers you will know that my real wedding anniversary is in September, but September was such a crazy month that I completely forgot to blog some of my wedding pics (It’s a tradition) Well you know what they say, it’s better late than never. One of the questions that I get a lot as a wedding planner is “Where did you get married?” Most couples are almost always shocked when I told them I had a destination wedding in Maui, Hawaii. Your wedding has to be a reflection of you as a couple and what your priorities are. We wanted a really low key fun week long vacation with our close family and friends and that was exactly what we did. Are there things that I would of done differently? Absolutely! When I got married, to be honest I was not in the wedding business, and so even an internet phene like myself didn’t get all the resources that I needed. Now looking back, I know exactly why couples are willing to hire a wedding planner and vendors in their own hometown to help them plan their wedding in Hawaii. I had a “wedding coordinator” but it was nothing close to the experience that I give my couples today. However, we did have the wedding experience that we ultimately wanted. So, with that in mind! If you are thinking about getting married in Maui, but don’t want to settle for a “package” deal but rather a more boutique experience, shoot me an email at info@wynnaustinevents.com I know some pretty amazing vendors that work in Maui and would LOVE to travel so that you can have the best of both worlds, the magic of Maui with the decadent decor that you want!
Here are some of my favorite wedding pictures! You can tell we opted for a hawaiian ceremony, with our eccentric officiant and lei ceremony!

After our Maui wedding we flew back to San Diego, unpacked, and repacked for our honeymoon in Paris, France! Learn from my mistake, give a couple of months before you go on your honeymoon if you are going out of the country! We were so jet lagged and tired but it definitely didn’t stop us from having such an amazing time in Paris. I absolutely love Paris, the food, the architecture, the art. I’m pretty much happy just walking around, window shopping, eating macaroons & drinking coffee, that’s the dream right there! One day I will definitely be back =)
Paris is so beautiful in the Fall!

I’m not sure if most of you know but I’m a mom to the most adorable girl in the world (okay I know I’m being biased!) I just wanted to share our family pictures taken by my good friends at Nema Photography! They did pictures for our first Christmas together, and it turned out so sweet. I still can’t believe my angel is now 2 years old. She was born alert & smiling and that is still how she is today. Family is where the heart is! Here are the loves of my life..

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of attending the fabulous annual Knot Party! This year it was located at one of my favorite venues, Santaluz Club. Since I am an entrepreneur there are always people that I follow and look up to, and one of them is the one and only Carley Roney, The Co-founder of The Knot which is the number 1 ranking wedding resource website on the web. She has always been such an inspiration to me and I had the opportunity to shake hands with her that night!
Thank you Darin Fong Photography for the photo!

I am the proudest mom in the whole world. My daughter just captures my heart and amazes me every single day. Here she is learning how to make a floral arrangement at 21 months old. Thank you to the girls at Blush Botanicals for letting her explore in their studio!
